Lauren Mayhew is a powerfully positive person with an eclectic background. She is an actress, a former member of a girl band (that performed with the likes of NSYNC and Destiny’s Child), a TV host, and an EDM performer.
Even with all of those notches in her belt, there’s still so much more that Lauren wants to do – “There’s still so much more to accomplish.”
Sometimes moving forward means looking back. There’s a reason why cars have a rearview mirror that is smaller than the windshield: it’s important to reflect on the past and see what’s behind you because that informs where you’re going.
People like to try to bury the past, but reflecting on both successes and failures can help you in the future – even rejection can be an opportunity.
As you move forward, it’s important to stay positive, strive for improvement, and be consistent... although it’s not always easy.
Start by identifying the things that will make you more successful, or more well-rounded as a person, and then act on that.
